       Our Doctors

 Dr. Katie Rericha

My husband, James, and I bought Lake of the Ozarks Animal Hospital from Dr. Jim Wilsman when he retired in May 2016. I had been working under Dr. Wilsman since 2013 after graduating from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. Medically I'm interested in surgery and routine medical care. At home I've got a son and another on the way, along with 2 big dogs and 2 cats. Eventually I'd like to have a bunch of animals, like our tech Lacey.

Dr.Tiffany Brentano

I started at LOAH in August 2016. I have wanted to be a veterinarian since I was 4 years old . I went to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed my clinical year at Kansas State University. While in Kansas I fell in love with the area and Lake of the Ozarks Animal Hospital.”

I come from a giant, loud and loving family, most of whom are in Oregon. I have a cat named “Sophie” who acts more like a dog than her feline relative and a dog named “Bella” who came from Dogwood Animal Shelter.  Boaz is my bay quarter horse gelding who is super smart, athletic and my best pal, and I can’t wait until he joins me in Missouri.”

When she’s not making sure your animals are happy and healthy she likes doing anything outdoors, painting, singing and horseback riding.

Our Staff

 Sarah Porter, Technician

I grew up bringing our pets to LOAH so when I graduated, I knew that was where I wanted to work. I’ve been working at a technician here since 2011. When I’m not at work I enjoy taking my dog for long hikes at Ha Ha Tonka State Park and being outside. I have three cats and one very spunky boarder collie who likes to herd the cats around the house.

 Allie Bilyeu, Reception Mananger

I knew I wanted to work here because my family has taken our pets to Dr. Wilsman for years. My husband and I have 4 dogs of our own now: Chloe, Nani, Memphis and Santana. When I’m not working, we like to go to our farm and spend time together camping, hiking and kayaking; pretty much anything we can do with our furry family.

Julie Cochran, Groomer

I’ve been a Groomer at LOAH since 2008. I have over 12 years of experience grooming. My favorite part about my job is sending dogs home smelling clean and with a haircut that their family loves. When I’m not grooming, I’m spending time with my husband and kids hunting, fishing, and caring for 2 dogs, 1 cat, 5 horses and 4 calves.

Jake Klein, Boarding Kennel Technician

I’ve been worked at LOAH since 2012. I’ve always had a passion for taking care of  animals. Being able to care for and love animals as a part of my job is an unbelievable opportunity! At home my Chihuahua, Suzie, rules the place and even bosses around our 105-pound Weimaraner. When I’m not working at the clinic I enjoy fishing, camping and working on my two Chevy sports cars.

Sara Halverson, Boarding Kennel Technician, Marketing

I’ve worked as a kennel technician since 2013. I really enjoy helping all the dogs here feel comfortable while they’re away from home. When I’m not at work I am writing and helping my husband build our house. Once we move in I can’t wait to get a fuzzy sibling for my Shepard/Husky mix.

Sandy Parker, Boarding Kennel Technician

I began my career as an advocate for people with physical and mental disabilities. Eventually I applied my care and compassion to the veterinary field as a vet tech where I worked for 10 years. I've been at LOAH since 2006 and my role is to ensure we provide quality care for each "fur kid" that boards with us. At home I have 5 cats and 1 dog, and they all have their own uniqueness. My family is also very important to me and we spend as much time together as possible.

Lacey Christeson, Vet Tech

I became a veterinary technician after working first in our kennel. I have always wanted to work at a vet clinic and I applied when I heard there was an opening. It's hard for me to write about my pet without turning it into a novel because I have so many. I've got 2 cats, 4 dogs, 2 pigs, 4 goats, 1 horse and 4 cows. While they don't all live inside, they are all my pets. When I'm not feeding and cleaning, riding my horse is one of my favorite things to do. I also like building things and riding my dirt bike.
